The Huntington - 5/20

This week: electric carmine roses in upright marching formation, calling out "hellooooooo spring!"  Every visit to the Huntington (at least 2x/mo these days) feels like an exclusive front row seat at NYFW and each plant is taking turns showing off its look and twirl. Sometimes these flowers unabashedly jut themselves right in your face flaunting its beauty as you're strolling past. I even find myself rolling my eyes and whispering, "oh cmonnn yeah yeah I know youre beautiful."

Chantry Flats

Still trying to find the summit of Mt Zion at Chantry Flats. Always only end up at sturtevant falls and surrounding area, gah. Today's hike was with mother-daughter duo/roomies, Celia and madamoisEllie. Then went on a quick hike to Runyon with Ellie and Winst. #optoutside

Room For Squares kind of morning

I was obsessed with this album in the 7th grade. Also associated to this memory is the Seattle Mariners (and their 2001 crazy W year), the Athletics' triple aces - Barry zito and mark mulder in particular, being on AOL AIM 24/7, and a warm Bellevue summer with crispy cool mornings.
